LG4 Fuel pump

Did any of the carbed LG4's come with an intank fuel pump?
There seems to be some confusion in this area. Thanks

YES YES YES, do not let anyone else tell you different. I am not sure about ALL years, and I am pretty sure my 83 did not have an in-tank Fuel Pump. But my 1987 Formula did.

Matter of fact despite all what I was told about using my LG4 Fuel tank and it would not work with the TPI fuel pump, they were wrong, I just transplanted the sender unit, and the stuff that actually went into the tank, but used my original tank...

So, your answer is YES. But the pump is a low pressure model, and I also had another pump on my engine.

hope that helps.

Here is what I dug up in the wonderful land of Parts & illustration Manuals...

LG4 (H) & Part #
82-84 On engine 6472366
85 On engine 6472408
86-87 On engine 6471252
87 IN TANK 25115461

BUT they had a Fuel Pump relay for the H engine in 86???

the "G" HO engine had the in tank Fuel Pump from 84-86

The in-tank fuel pump should have prevented the "vapor lock" problem that was experienced in 86, but it did not. Go fig.
