Max RPMs on 6ev009 4800rpms???

Ive notice when modifying the Arap/6Ev009 files in the "3D Maps/ Spark Advance Table" the rpms are only shown up until 4800 rpms. What happens to Your timing values if U rev higher than 4800rpm? Can the values be changed if U want to rev to 6500rpm? If so how do U do it?
Thanx

The engine just contiues on using the values from the 4800 entry.

99% of the time you'll do just fine using the same advance from peak torque anyway.

Thought you might like to try this. We have actually found pretty significant gains by advancing the timing above the peak torque R.P.M. in Pro-Stock engines. Dont know if it will work yet in my tpi car(87), as I'm just gettin started buying the necessary "evils".....lol for tuning. I have been reading as much as I can on the tpi tuning, and it is fascinating.
Thanks for all the great advice, and ideas.

Here's what happens with a 148 ECM timing above the 4800 rpm tables. I hope the columns turn out right. This data shows two chips..the stock 87 GN prom and a MAG4 aftermarket chip. The data shows what the timing is in the chip and what the actual timing the motor sees.

rpm 87 87 mag4 mag4
prom actual prom actual
3600 22.1 25.2 34.1 35.9
4000 22.1 25.8 35.8 38.0
4400 22.1 25.9 35.8 38.2
4800 22.1 26.5 35.8 38.4
5500 22.1 27.1 35.8 39.5
6500 22.1 28.2 35.8 38.1
7500 22.1 32.2 35.8 35.1
8446 22.1 35.7 35.8 33.7
