Any praises for Jegs Torque Arm?

If you have some pic's that would be great also.

I like the idea the torque is independant of the transmission & type all togather.

Looking to install for a road race application...

no experience in the usage of jegster parts but from having been in the store many times and looking at them i'm always amazed by the sloppy looking welds and workmanship compared to the price. now considering my vocation and past experencies i may be unreasonably critical too.

I helped a friend of mine installed one on his fourth gen a few years back and it was fairly easy. The workmanship was OK..but my biggest gripe is the lack of adjustability for pinion angle.Save the extra dough and get a Spohn or any of the others that allow adjusting pinion angle. The Spohn unit comes with a whole new crossmember that takes the mount of the tranny tailhousing all together also.I myself run the Random Technology..they were one of the first to offer a TA with adjustable pinion angle around 6 years ago when I was looking. It mounts to the tailhousing as the stock unit, but that does not worry me.I am very happy with the product.I have seen more than a few f bodies run well into the 9's & 10's without this becoming an area of breakage.I have yet to get near that so I am good to go.

Thanks guy...I was going to put in a Jegs driveshaft loop today, buy was to lazy, and just laid under the car for 20 minutes.
I figure if I get a Spohn unit I don't need to drill holes everywhere, and I can call it a day

After reading a little, I figure that a shorter torque arm (ie Jegs) might help with the rear end squat under acceleration, but might do little to help in brake hop (might even lift the rear in the air!)
Sounds like a drag race suspension upgrade?

Yeah it is mainly for drag use.My friend with the fourth gen and the Jegster TA really doesn't pull any better 60 ft times than the rest of us with the longer TA either.I think to date he is still on average 1/10 slower than us..usually 1.90 to our 1.70/1.80.Go for the Spohn units..very nice products.
