holley 750 V.S versus Edelbrock 750

I did a search but couldn't find any results just looking for pro's and con's on both. Experiences with them good and bad.

A lot of people dont like edelbrocks because they are hard to tune and make run right. I have a holley 750 and it works great and is very easy to tune, so I would go for the holley. Sorry I dont have more information but Im sure someone else will come in on this.

Just get whatever you're comfortable with.

You're looking at about a 20-30 hp gain with a comperable Holley over an Edelcrock on a mild motor. Edelcrocks have about 3-4x as many problems as well, judging from how many problems get posted about on here.

Why anyone runs one of those POS's I have no idea. But hey, to each thier own.

I have run both makes of carbs.Edelbrock is a great daily carb (IMHO) out of the box but lacks the performance and adjustability of the Holley style carb..I run Demons..Holley style though.I bought my Edelbrock and installed it and never touched it again aside from mixture screw adjusting when installing it.Ran it that way for 5 years on my old 350.When I built my current 355 I went to Demon for the adjustability alone...performance was granted.I have run Holleys but I personally never had 1 that ran any good...that was out of 3 used and 2 brand new in my cars over the years.I am very happy with the Demon line.It depends on what you are looking to do with the car.Any serious intentions of making a healthy street car..go Holley over Edelbrock.Daily driver with a mild small block..price wise an Edelbrock is hard to beat.
