Hello all. I'm sure a lot of you were a part of last night's and today's threads about Rex's hood raffle. I lot of opinions have been made of Rex and his company from this raffle and the results of it.

When Rex posted the winner last night, he chose to not post the entire email address, hoping that the real winner would come forward to give Rex his complete email address so everything would check and match with the entry form that Rex received.

After many people did a search for the member 'wowcolor', it turned up that there was no such member until just recently early last night when the winner was posted. It seems that someone registered as the member 'wowcolor' in order to try to claim the hood or try to make us all think that Rex was indeed running a scam.

A lot of things seemed fishy and did not add up last night, which was why everyone jumped the gun in thinking that Rex was a scam artist and was trying to get on good sides with the board.

I have received a PM from Rex stating that the real winner of this raffle is the member: Luke (89 Iroc Z) with the full email address of wowcolorsemail@aol.com. This entire mess could have been avoided if Luke would have replied earlier in the thread...which is not his fault at all.

I would like to take the time now to personally apoligize to Rex for the accusations and assumptions that myself and others have made to make this become what it has. Hopefully Rex still has good standings with this board as he did nothing wrong.

I myself am a guilty party as I should have immediately locked the thread as soon as I noticed the problem and contacted Rex regarding the issue. Again, I am sorry for what I did.

Rex has also decided to forward all of the entries that were in the previous drawing to Dirk (Site administrator) to let him choose another winner, on top of Luke. This will make 2 winners from TGO. Hopefully this post will clear up a lot of confusion as to what happened in the past 24 hours.
