My car should be out and about shortly (I know, I have said that for months) I just bought a 57' Chevy and it needs to go in the garage too, so the blue car must be driveable.
My wife just gave birth to our second boy last night! WooHoo!
Another gearhead in the works !!!

Weekends of June 12th or July 10th would be awesome for me but I'll take vacation if I have to. One way or another, I'm coming!

Congratulations on your baby boy, Jason!

congrats Jason
Second week of July sounds good to me
Gives time to plan and stuff. Hopefully my dad can get off of work. His probation period is up in 2 weeks so he would hopefully be able to take leave

Hey Dwayne, do you still hang out the SoCal forum, too? We're planning a bar-b-q for Orange County some time in July. We're hoping you can come down and whip up some of your famous tri-tip.

I just got off the phone with John Miller discussing a good time to have a GTG at his house near Pismo. It's a great location and lots of room.
Both our schedules came up with August 14th.
I will BBQ tri-tip and the rest will be a pot luck thing. We will have more details later. This should be plenty of time for folks to plan for this.
Set your calenders now.
I also checked the Santa Mria Speedway calender and they will have late model stocks, street stocks ect. racing that night. Cost is $13 for adults. Racing starts at 7pm gates open at 5pm. This is always good fun and will have lots of wrecks.

I think I'm working days on the weekend of the 14th, but I'll take vacation if need be. One way or another, I'll be there.
I can bring plenty of paper plates, plasticware, and cups. If I remember correctly, we broke into the regular dishes last time.

I was hoping this was enough time for your dad to schedule some time.
Anybody in for the races later that evening? I can look into a group discount rate. Probubly not as good as what we got in Fresno.

Ok so the meet location would be at Pismo? I would be down for the races, as long as its not freezing and there are wind gusts lol
Should be enough time to get my car painted, now if only my parts would come in

TMoNeE - Get there any way you can. If I had a choice I would stay with the General Motors theme.
I hope the weather will be good too but ya never know. I do know that the races can get cold and foggy sometimes but a sweat shirt would work.
Lets start a who's going list.
Dwayne + #1Son
BORLAZ06 + ?
vexter + ?

I'm sure Sammy (samdog1232000) will try to make it and possibly his brother. Also hoping Ryan (IROC350TPI) will be able to set some time aside to make the trip. Has anyone heard from Zac or Dan? It'd be cool to see them again too! Jeff should drive down from Bend... he is retired after all, isn't he?

Hopefully my dad can get a day off. If so we are game. It would be awesome to get another caravan for the Fresno crew again

87tpi - It would be awesome if you could make it. You'll win the long haul award.
BTW - please feel free to bring your spouses. This is a good crowd were everyone is welcome.

What ever happened w/ your Geforce upgrade, Dwayne? You going w/ a T56 or... ?
I'm currently in the process of doing the C5 13" brake upgrade. They should be in before the meet. I should be able to slow down in all the twisties. Now if I could get speeding-up part fixed, I'd be set!

I have bad news.
My son qualified to go to the Scholastic clay target National's in Ohio and we don't return until sunday the 15th.
I had no idea his team would take second place in the state so I never considered going. This is a prestigious shoot to see who is best in the nation. There is no way I can deprive him of such an opportunity.
I'm sorry and happy at the same time.
I can still provide the marinade but I won't be able to attend.
I know folks scheduled days off fo this so I won't ask to reschedule.
Sorry dudes!
