New Black 91 Z28
Just picked her up last weekend. She is a 91 Z and has an L98 with 55k miles. Full SLP exhaust, 1 3/4 jet hot coated headers, dual cats, and muffler. 3.42 gears. Slp runners. ported intake and baseplate. 26lb Injectors. 52mm TB. Global west LCAs, relocation brackets. adj panhard bar. Sportlines and Alston SFCs to go in soon. A buddy of mine flew out to Oaha NE with me to pick up the car, and then we drove it back to MD. Just over 1,500 miles. let me know what you think of her.

You dont see many around here with the 5.7 engine. I have testdrove one that was bone stock and it blew my mind, so i could just imagine what yours runs like
sweet car . i like it , and i usually dont like camaros. I think you need to get some dark tint and then your set. Looks pretty good, just shine up that engine bay and youllbe all set .

Nice car, I like it alot. Leave the 2 out the left SLP exhaust on, its a very nice setup and flows really well also.
Your car looks alot like 84CustomZ28's black Camaro

Woah, nice! If you're going with Flowmaster you'll want the 80 Series for dual outlets not the 40's.

Great looking car and someone really put some money in it and did it right from the looks of it. Suppose you won't say how much you gave for it. Just curious, guessing about 6 grand. More? Figure you got a real deal or you wouldn't have gone that distance.

Stay with the SLP 2OTL. Going with with a flowmaster 80 will only slow you down as the muffler flows LESS than the SLP one.
Flowmasters are raunchy. But a 2otl system is classy.
Besides, I hate the droning I get with my 80 series muffler, and that was on a stock engine. I can't imagine how much more I'll hate it on the new motor.

Sweet ride man!! :hail:
When it comes to thirdgen's I am a Trans Am fan, but if I ever wanted a change a '91 or '92 black Z28 is what I would get. Very nice car!

Looks great! If you don't mind, please let us know the cost or PM me the price. I'm looking to get a hard top next year, in good condition, so I'm starting to gather prices so I can start thinking about what I'll need to shell out. Thanks...

Thanks for all the compliments and comments. I will try to answer everyones questions at once.
I have an 80s flowmaster on my Rs and I think it sounds good and the SLP is really quite. I would like something louder.
Yep this car was on ebay a while agao.
I payed 5gs (steal) I would have payed 5 for it even if it was stock.
The sportlines ride really nice. way better than the worn out stockers on my RS. I just put on the global west LCAs and relocation brackets and it rides a little rougher but I like NOT having wheel hop, so I will keep them.
The only problem is the back right wheel rubs the inner fender over really big bumps on the inerstate. but I haven't had the problem driving localy.

I wouldn't worry about it cause it's still one bad a$$ ride dude. Opposing tip will set it off though.

there are no fog lights becasue the guy I bought it from removed them when he installed the ram air boxes behind them. And about the SLP exhaust, I wish it was louder and I like having apposing tips. The rectangular tips I saw on a local 91 Z are really starting to grow on me.

Very nice Z28.
Those rims make the car stand out.
What kind of rims are those?
I especially like the SLP exhaust.
You picked up a nice one.

I usually don't like Torque Thrusts on 3rdgens, but they look badass on yours! I'm starting to think black might be the way to go with my project... :hail:
