Yea, the paint may have an inch of dust on it....yea it may not be wetsand/buffed, and the new wheels have fingerprints and smudges....and the whole suspension is out of alignment. But I just couldnt help but take it out in the driveway for a couple evening pics....other than the ridiculous rake in the back (which Im altering because something must not be sitting right)....whatcha think?

looks good except for the hood . And that does sit ****ty .Its very high in the rear . Did you use new spring isolators for the rear. You could take them out and that might lower it some. Rims look good though . Is it me or do they stick out a little in the pics. Probably the pic since the bs is right . looks cool. But the hood kills me. But hey its your car and its looks good even with it .
. Now get out there and win some car shows.

looks great. glad you went with that spoiler. Looks different than most and still looks pretty good. I also dont care for the hood, but to be 100% honest. almost every 3rd gen Ive seen that hood on kinda makes me wanna gag. But its not as noticable on your car. doesnt stand out to me.
But like I always say, if everyone had the same taste and the same cars, the world would be a boring *** place to be
good work!

thanks so far everyone...I gotta love the lil comments thrown in about the hood...give it time and it'll either grow on you...or kill you while you sleep
The springs dont have new isolators (front or back)....Im gonna twist them around to see if I get any lower...and we'll see. The wheels may stick out a little because it's not in the greatest alignment (I just toyed with the panhard bar a bit to get them somewhat even...my driverside wheel was out about 2" at first)

Boyd Coddington Hotrods 18x8 4.5" bs up front, and 18x10 with 6.0 bs rear.....the rear may look like they stick out somewhat....but it hasnt been aligned yet either....and yes my gfx are different. When I bought the car, there was an aftermarket gfx kit on it (since sc's didnt come with gfx). When it went in for paint last summer, I replaced the nose with the 85-90 gfx and kept the rest....no use in replacing them all

You've got the big part out of the way, it's just the little details to finish it off, like a motor to match the exterior.
Looks great, I again don't care for the hood, but, for some reason on your car, it just doesn't seem to stick out so much. Looks good, like the rims. Keep it up and start workin on a motor.

I love it aside from the hood. I like the spoiler and the rims are perfect. Whats that white mark between the door and fender in the second pic? Just a reflection?

the white mark unfortunatly is a strip of tape I put to keep the paint from chipping worse down there. Apparently from the time my car went into the shop for paint, to when it came out my door decided to sag, badly. First time I opened the door it chipped right down there...Im getting it touched up soon, but Im also checking to make sure it's the upper hinges that are causing the problem (dont want to blow the money if it isnt that)

it's about time... rims and of course the color get a huge
that hood though, while unbelievable on the 98+ ta's looks so completely out of place on a camaro.. it's the only thing keeping the most outside appearance of your car as one of my top 5 favorite and dropping it into the lower 20's. but it's your car, o'well.

well, the car isnt going anywhere anytime soon....as soon as I find a decent price on a 98+ TA and get one, Ill opt for a different hood

edit: If somone wants to really change my perspective on the hood choice, maybe a photoshop on my car would help

i love the car i think the hood looks sick. although i also think a joe-blowed hood or whatever that is would look just as good. But as it sits now is sweet

I finally got her on the road today, despite off and on showers.....love the new suspension, so tight and responsive...yet comfortable. I also had my dad run the car around the block, because until now Ive never seen my car from the outside in motion.....the rims look amazing while the car is rolling....paint does too, its just that it's dull right now from all of the dust
