I will answer everyone's emails and questions here.
First off this car is twenty(20) years old. I have had it for one year. The previous owner had it in a garage for 8 years. It was a project that he received for lack of payment of money owed to him( he is a race car fabricator). He back halved the previous owners 70 chevelle. Owner came up 2000 short on payment so my guy got this for the difference. My guy already had a 454 BB 84 Z28 to play with so this car sat neglected for years in his storage garage. He lost the storage garage and needed to liquidate stuff and thats where i come in. I buy it sight unseen to save this car.
When I got it, it had a th350 hanging from 1 bolt, was missing distributer and TPI. Did not run at all , had no wheels and a very lame and trashed camel interior. I gutted the interior and installed a black interior. Parts missing from there are headliner, center console top. and passenger door panel toprail. On to the drivetrain... I reinstall complete another TPI and distributor. Rebuild a 700r4, buy a new stock torque convertor and seals to put back to stock proper parts.
On to the body. Car was missing taillights so I replaced with correct IROC grids. It could use a new driver side fender and chin spoiler. Car still has z28 hood with proper hood louvers that are undamaged. Car is missing emblems buy still has stripe kit with IROC Z down the doors. It does have 1 spot of rust on the top of the right rear wheelwell. The car is currently sitting on four thirdgen donuts in my driveway and has been there for two weeks.
I have had many thirdgens and know when something is too far gone and needs to be chopped. I have chopped many of the cars. This is a genuine IROC worth saving. If I didn't need dental work I would have it painted and keep it. But since this is the bottom of the food chain on my large project list I want to sell it to another thirdgener who will paint it and have a nice car to cruise. I will not ebay it to some punk or have enough ***** top chop it. It deserves a paint job and to keep cruising.
This is a good deal all the hard stuff is done.
