bin stacking
bin stacking
how do you stack 4k bins on a AT29C256 chip?? on tunner pro?
what do you put the bin size as, chip size and block size?
then how do i set up the pp2 to burn it? what do i put the byte as? buffer start and device start and stop? since the bin is now stacked from tunner pro? how do you use step by step? like load the buffer, move device then etc etc?

I usually don't do stacking, use this table from Craig Moates's site and set your PPII accordingly to burn your 4K on AT29C256. http://www.moates.net/documentation....entation_id=20 look towards the bottom for the table.
edit, Missed that.
1. load buffer, meaning load your .bin to burn
2. program device
move device is to read a chip file and move it to your buffer to burn on another chip or save as a .bin, when using the PPII just use your mouse and point to the different buttons, a pop up window will describe what the button does.

open TunerPro & go to TOOLS & select Bin Stacker, then set the bin size to what your bin is. next set the chip size to the chip your using. set the block size to the same size as the bin your working with. once you have this done, setup an Output file & name it, such as Stacked 1 for the stacked bins, now select the bin files you want to stack by clicking on Browse in the Bin Layout- Input files section & select them. once you have it populated click the Stack button. your output file, Stacked 1 should now be stacked bins equal to your base bin file times the number of times you stacked it, such as 4k X 10 = 40k.
i typed this from memory & its been a couple of months sense the last time i did a stack, i don't think i missed any something or got something wrong, but it is possible, if so, someone correct me.
