Someone stole the body for my cd player, what do i do?
For my birthday a few months ago, i got an alpine CDA-D855 with the shuttle control and remote. I took the face plate off and took it with me, but someone saw it and took the body for the cd player, so now im stuck with the face plate and remote. This was a really expensive cd player, so how can i get a new body for it??

sorry about the loss. yeah, best bet is to call up alpine and see what they can do. you can possibly claim the theft under your car insurance. besides that, you'll probably have to buy a new headunit

They're not going to sell you the body. That's 90% of the radio! Sorry to say, but you're SOL unless you get lucky enough and find one on Ebay.
