ARAP bin with 32B - someone take a look?
I was previously using another mask and the car was spewing fumes like mad if I was lucky enough to get it started. After a little more research, I decided to switch to the 32B mask since that's what came in my car ('88 GTA 350 with 165 ECM).
Motor has been swapped, so the following things are gone:
EGR
Emissions
Cold start valve
I also want to turn off the VATS, so I unchecked the box in the flag. I'm assuming that's all there is to it.
I tried to start it this afternoon with this new combo (see attachment) and while it would turn over, it just wouldn't start up. The chip already in the car is a Hypertech. The car will run if I take out the Moates stuff and plug it back in directly, but it takes me several minutes to get it started.
Would anyone mind giving the attached file a look and point me in the right direction? I'm completely new at this and reading through the threads are like reading Greek to me right now.

I believe ARAP needs to be ran with $6E. I'm sure someone else will chime in but I'm almost certain.

IROC is right, you need to run the $6e mask for the ARAP bin. There is allot of info in the stickies. Takes time to read through them, but worth it. I'm new to tuning myself. Just started modifying my ARAP bin.

I'm not familier with the 32B mask. I'm running 6e. But your bin has some strange info in it. The table for Desired Idle speed vs coolant Temp appears screwed up. Every other rpm value is "0". The same problem appears in the MAF tables 1 - 6. Your fuel resume speed is higher than your cutoff speed. That's backwards. Your resume speed is suppose to be at less than the cutoff speed. Hopefully someone with more expertise will chime in on this. Good luck.

Fred SS, I noticed that too.
I tried to find the bin for my car, but there's somewhere around 4 to choose from for my ecm, but I have no idea where to begin.

Re: ARAP bin with 32B - someone take a look?
I've attached a pdf file that I downloaded a couple weeks ago from one of the stickies. Hopefully I did the upload correctly. It is a guide to maf programming. Some good info in there. I believe you can use the ARAP bin for your 88 since you already have the cold start delete, but you will have to use the 6e mask. Keep in mind the ARAP bin was originally intended for 89 vette with alum heads. The fuel and spark tables are more aggressive than the F-body 89 bin (APYU).
Good luck

I did some web searching and found the following information on www.gearhead-efi.com
for 88 F-body bins.
ABYA, 88 F-car, 5.7 liter/700r4/2.77 gears
AKXX, 88 F-car, 5.7 liter/700r4/3.27 gears
Hope this helps.
