SLP cam pn. 51006
Hello I have for a SLP cam part number 51006 This is the oem firehawk cam. I bought it from Summit Back in 1997 When I did my first rebuild. Its now time to go bigger so its up for sale. Its been in my car for 19 years but I only put aprox 17000 miles on it since then so its in great shape, but then again roller cams don't really wear like the old school fat tappats do. This is a nice little cam with a nice little lope to it. It worked great in my first build 355 10.0 compession ported 083 l98 heads edelbrock shorty headers and a follwmaster cat back 700r4 with a shift kit and a tci 2400 stall. I am now gowing to a 396 sbc stroker with a hsr trickflow 23 degree cnc heads and a trickflow trackmax cam It worked well with the stock ecm and chip, no checkengine light or driveability issues. The specs are 214/224 duration and .470/.490 lift I paid $250 for this back in 1997, about the sam as a sbc roller cam today. I am asking $150.00 shipped anywhere in the U.S shipping may be slightly higher for Canada ect.
