Spark plugs with Hedman Headers

Hello all. I am running the Hedman LTs (PN-68460) with Edelbrock Aluminum Heads (PN 60899) with straights plugs. Was wondering what plugs others are running with similar head combination. I feel like I am limited to the shorty style header plug but there has to be other options. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Spark plugs with Hedman Headers

I forgot to say I'm using vortec heads, however there is plenty of clearance. What Y pipe are you using? I've got the Y pipe that goes with those headers and under torque load there is some clunking which I attribute to the Y pipe hitting against the frame, I just put the car on the road and it's driving me nuts. It sits toooooo close to the oil pan.

Re: Spark plugs with Hedman Headers

It used to be a daily driver with a full exhaust. I have been turning it into a race only car though. It is stripped of all unneccassary weight has gas on it etc....only time it is ever driven is when I take it to track...so yeah it's loud...but I only drive it an 1/8 mile at a time.
