Crossfire Injection Air Cleaners

Has anyone ever tried to use the 1984 Corvette air cleaner and base on a 1982-83 Camaro or Firebird before? Will it fit?

Re: Crossfire Injection Air Cleaners

I was afraid of that. I wanted to know if the hood from an F body would close with that type of air cleaner. Also, I was going to convert the base to accept the carb. and use it as a more modern looking dual snorkel of sorts.
