Selling my 1985 Trans Am. I bought it in 1987. I replaced the engine with a 1978 350 4 bolt .40/over flat tops mild cam. New 32lb accel injectors ( a little to much). about 1200 miles on motor. Tires and rims are ok. Hit a curb hard and bent the frame at the A-Arm bolt attachment. Frame company said $400 to fix it. I have the original hood as well as the original 305 motor/fresh rings and rod bearings. Transmission could be freshened up. Rebuilt 10 years ago. Rear end is solid.

what kind of shape is it in rust wise?The floors,t-top area and all the usual villains?Been looking for an 85 TPI with t-tops.You know how it is,I sold mine and have been kicking myself ever since..How bad is the frame,is it movable under its own power,at least in the driveway?

I've had the car for 25 years. Always been garage kept. Except for now. Had to make room. There's surface rust on the doors and the window pillars. It does start and drive. T-top are in good shape no cracks. The floor are rust free. Even the air conditioner still worked. My son wanted it it. But he went with a GTO.
