4 point harness mounts

Hi Guys

I was wondering if people could post up how they have their front harnesses mounted into their third gens.

Hopefully looking at fitting mine next weekend

I am running the stock front seats at the moment and will be removing the rears to mount the harnesses

many Thanks

Jim

Re: 4 point harness mounts

I'd imagine you would need a harness bar or cage if using the factory seats. I know it won't pass tech at most tracks or autocross events without one. Something about the angle of the belts compressing your spine in the event of a wreck due to the belts pulling down instead of back when you pull forward.

Yes blasphemy I know it's a mustang but this is my other toy. See how the bar is above the shoulder height? Also due to the amount of angle coming from the floor to the bar and the distance apart the mount points are, the shoulder strap was required to cross before it got to the seat. I used the factory lap belt mount points for the rear to mount the shoulder straps, and the factory lap belt points for the front for the harness lap straps.
