yeah thats what i said. thats alright ill probably be the only one with them now.
anyways my car is runnign great now. drove it last night and it felt like the TPI was still in it and once in a while it would stall. took the cat off and now it runs like a LS and no stalling. still need to tune it though.

Awesome results!
Please clarify for me, exactly which motor-mount-adapter-plates did you end up installing? These? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=270744578102

Re: My 5.3L 91 Z28 build thread (goin to be slow)
got sick of the cotton candy under my hood so went with a different color.
next is to get rid of the overflow tank, finish my hood and i got something a little custom i wanna do with my spoiler.

Re: My 5.3L 91 Z28 build thread (goin to be slow)
LI suspect he bought LS1 spark plug wires which aren shorter then the truck wires and now he can mount the coils to the valve covers because the wires aren't long enough to reach.....well Atleast that's what I did and had to leave the coils resting on the valve cover till I got the right ones

no since it was a super budget build and i only got the coil packs without the brackets i mounted them like that until i can buy brackets. although i might relocate them but not sure at the moment.

running alright still need to tune it. found out my timing all across the tables is like *14 degrees. i dont think its the rear main, i think its just the oil pan gasket. also found out my oil pressure sensor was leakin a bunch too when i had the intake off.

Well, I wasn't going to say anything, but I like the chrome better, FWIW. Not that the painted center doesn't look good because it does. I just think the chrome wheels really add character to your car and really make it stand out. Just my

Chrome looks good, but for this specific car, I think the blacked out rims are better.

Re: My 5.3L 91 Z28 build thread (goin to be slow)
seems like i fix one thing and another thing starts to act up. well my front ends got a wierd scary *** shake and cant figure out why. i finally got a power steering pump that doesnt leak which is nice.
got some work done on my hood. still not done yet but its coming along. goin to see if people are interested in it and might try to make copies.
i still gotta finish weldinh up the sides and then cut a hole in the front and weld some mesh on, then it goes on to the body work stage

lookin really good man.
i remember my dads truck had the same shake, but it was really violent. It was just a busted end-link.
