Valvoline VR-1 on sale
Thought I would share the news of a good deal. Usually in the spring AutoZone sells the valvoline vr1 at a discounted price of $2 off per quart. So you should be able to buy as much as you want for ~$4 per quart. Sale is until May 1. I usually buy enough for the year at that price. If you are lucky the manager will even order whatever weight you want and sell it at $4 per quart. They also have royal purple synthetic for $8 a quart.

Did you hear about the screw-up they did about 2 months ago and it was going for 2 bucks a quart? Now THAT was a sick deal. Haha.

No, wow! I know back before Christmas or so they were clearencing some of the good oil too. Dirt cheap, think one dollar or so. Big thread on the Chicago region board. Some guys were buying like forty bottles!
