Smog Pump delete 88 T.P.I. IROC Vert
I am doing my research on deleting my smog pump that locked up and has engine making whinning sound. I was told I could remove the pully and just change the serp belt. I will eventually change the pump (keeping stock look) but not right now. I don't want the delete pully if I can just change belts.
My question is what exact belt part number do I need for my particular engine? Dayco 968K6 or 935K6. Also which belt routing method?

Take a look at this page...
https://www.thirdgen.org/serpentine/
Another alternative is to take the pump apart remove the vanes so it no longer pumps air and regrease the back bearing with wheel bearing grease. I did that to mine and 2 years 2500 miles still spins free, It makes the pump into a simple idler pulley.
