Slipping all over the place
During a fall rain (60 degrees outside) and yesterday (dry, but 45 degrees) my car slides all over the road. Here is a video from yesterday. I'm giving maybe 1/4 throttle, and at about 20mph the back goes sideways somewhat (7 seconds in, and then a little at 10). Its subtle on video but the back definitely loses grip.
Before I had a dash cam, I came around the same corner from a stop 3 months ago when it was raining (60 degrees) and I actually spun around about 75 degrees.
I believe the car has summer tires, I am not sure. Falken P245/ZR50/16 ZE-502 made in japan. I dont know how old they are, ive only had the car for 6 months. They look brand new with lots of tread, but they just have horrible traction.
I guess my question is, is 60 degrees wet and 45 degrees dry normal for these tires to lose control? I read that these type of tires are actually better than all season tires in the rain, and do fairly well down to freezing temps (but once under 32 degrees, they will no longer grip well).
