headers with stock y pipe

Ive never actually come across headers that bolt to the stock Y pipe; prolly because the headers will hang lower than the manifolds. Besides, part of the crappy stock exhaust system is the small, poorly designed Y pipe....

none that im aware of.. headers and y-pipe are one of the best things you can do on these cars.. anyway what wold you want to keep the stock y-pipe??
