Jet Performance Chips?

Hey All,

I might have a line on a good deal on a new, unopened Jet Performance chip for my IROC.

Anyone have any opinions about these? I beleive it is a "stage 2" chip.

Thanks in advance!

Well, if you do a quick search you will soon realize that most people frown on "off the shelf" chips. If it's a REALLY good deal then go for it. Although some may not even advise that you should take it if someone gives it to you. Bottom line, if you are too lazy or inept to burn your own chips, do it, if not, then steer clear.

Chevy8ford,

Thanks for the "opinion" I appreciate it.

I eventually do want to "burn" a chip, but I'm waiting until I have my new motor, as I'll be running a 125-150 nitrous shot, stealthram, and a few other engine modifications.

So $40.00 isn't a good deal for one, brand new in the box?

I figured for what I spend on a nite out it can't be bad, but that is why I'm asking.

Thanks for the post!
