Hawks 160 mph speedo
I was wondering if anyone has this speedo, and what they think. I searched and couldnt find anything on it.
They say they will recalibrate your speedo, and reface it. Its a 160mph. And it would be a match to the factory gauges. I dont want to replace every gauge. Anybody have one? And how would this work if you needed to recalibrate it for gears or a tranny or tire swap?
Id post a link, but didnt know how that would go. They are a sponser.

Re: Hawks 160 mph speedo
if you swap the tire size gear size you need to swap the speedo drive gears in the tranny

Re: Hawks 160 mph speedo
Yes, I know. Thank you though.
I am wanting a speedo that reads higher. Im looking at an engine and tranny swap soon. I was just wondering if this speedo conversion would cause more issues with calibration. And if it was any good.

Re: Hawks 160 mph speedo
you can swap out the 85, 115, and 140 MPH factory ones without changing the speedo gears in the tranny, the speedos gears in the speedos are diffrent, if you swap out speedos it will not effect what kind of speedo gears you got in your tranny
i hope this makes sence or helps you in some way
