Has anyone used these? If so what length pushrods did you use?

Do yourself a favor and get a pushrod length checker. Just because someone else used a certain size with them and it worked doesn't mean it'll be the correct length for your application, there are too many variables that can cause you to need different lengths, besides for the price of a length checker it's worth the piece of mind knowing you have the proper length for your application.

Re: Proform Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms
we used them on a friend's car but in the 1.5:1 ratio, they work really well, pretty good piece especially for the money. do you have an aftermarket cam in it already? what heads are you using?
edit: checking the length would be a good idea, also checking clearance on the head because the 1.6 rockers move the pushrod towards the stud. we used stock pushrods for what its worth

Re: Proform Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms
Right now the car is stock, just looking at my options. Im thinking about the summit vortechs cut down to 58cc and the edelbrock base for them. Haven't decided on the cam yet either. Then i get to learn how to burn my own proms lol. Wishing i could afford a vortech supercharger and 335 kit for it but thats not happening anytime soon lol

But i will get the pushrod checker though

Re: Proform Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms
it doesn't need a rebuild i was just looking up things i would like to add to the 305 lol. But yea whenever its time for a new bottom end it will get as many cubes as i can get with the TPI, wonder how it would do with a 434 (i like stroker motors lol just cant ever afford them). But before all of that the trans, rear end, and suspension would have to be built to handle my abuse. I tend to put cars through hell on a regular basis

Re: Proform Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms
i asked the same questions a few years ago about pushrods, at the cost of what, 25$ for a length checker you need to go with what cam, heads, and rocker arms are go with noone is the same and only takes a little time to check this out.
