Any Iowa boys out there? Vendor issue here.
I was online looking for new rotating assemblies to build another engine. I found this place in Davenport, Iowa named Anderson Brothers Automotive. They had a good deal on a balanced 355 rotating assembly so I placed an order (Either Monday the 29 July or Tuesday the 30th July). The owner I ssume, Tim Anderson, says that I should have it in about a week. Well the week goes by. I notice that the ~$650 is charged on my credit card, but no rotating assembly. I try calling to see if it had been shipped out yet. I catch him "out of the office" on his cell phone and he said he would check on it and get back with me. Never hear anything. Now it is almost 3 weeks from ordering it and I still can not get ahold of him at all anymore. I have been calling everyday for about a week and a half. All I get is an answering machine. I have left multiple messages to no avail.
What gives....does anyone know this place. He said he builds circle track engines for racers in that area.
I am kind of pi$$ed off right now. I need to have the engine built and in a car last week!!!!
If anyone lives in that area, please respond.
