AVOID Martel Brothers Performance
Here are the facts, I ordered a K&N intake filter so I could get my car and new engine on the road after 5.5 years. I placed the order on Wednesday, May 24th at 11:35am.
Soon after I placed the order I received a confirmation email stating: "DELIVERY time normally takes 4 to 5 business days AFTER your order has been processed. To expedite your shipment we will try to fulfill and ship your order from a warehouse that is closest to you. However, on rare occasions an order can take up to 10 days for delivery.
In the unlikely event that your item is on Back Order, we will notify you with order status and expected availability dates."
So, 1 week passed....I thought maybe this would be one of the "rare occassions where it would take up to 10 days" to deliver. Well on June 9th, a full 16 days later (13 business days) I called them up to see what was going on.
I gave the guy my information and he went to check it out. I waited on the phone for a good 5 minutes. He came back and said it's not on backorder, they have them in stock...they've just been having some problems with their new conveyor system or something (I really didn't pay much attention to the reason). Well he promised me that I would have it the following week (which has now come and gone).
Today is the 26th day after I placed my order and I am not happy!
I will be calling on the status soon!
Looks like I f'd myself by not going through Summit!

call again and complain until they give you a refund and the filter too. nobody should have to put up with sh** like that from a business. Unacceptable customer service.

I've been getting K&N stuff through NAPA reliably(plus I get 10% off w/a AAA card). But yeah, Jeg's and Summit are always good....
