Hate to do this, G-Force....but

I really hate to say this...but G-Force has had my $1350.00 for going on six months now, and I haven't heard a peep or seen hide nor hair of the gearset I thought I was going to get for my T-5. The auto in my car is dying and it looks like I'll have to put another auto in. I'm very disappointed at having to buy another automatic transmission.

I carefully studied all my transmission options for months before deciding that the g-force set was right for me. Now I'm stuck with another auto, which I hate, but it'll be the cheaper reliable fix for a stock car. I also get to mess with selling the WC T-5, bellhousing, flywheel, pedals, and all that stuff, that I scoured the junkyards for weeks to find, and go through the pleasure of trying to get my 1350.00 back. Whoopee. Not to mention that I've had most of that junk powdercoated during the wait. $ down the drain.

I said I was very disappointed...make that profoundly disappointed. It takes a lot to get me to turn loose of a dime, then when I finally decide to do something nice for the car, it turns into a fiasco. The thought of a manual in this piece of crap Camaro is about the only thing that has kept me going on it. Although it's a beautiful machine to look at, and I've been a Camaro guy forever, I'd rather shed it and find some other manually shifted sports coupe, WITHOUT a T-5.

Twice I've called g-force and twice they've told me that it'll be about three weeks before delivery. Last call I made was two or three months ago. I guess they feel like they have the market cornered on the high perf T-5 thing and can therefore neglect the little guy's wants or concerns.

That's way too bad....for us.

redliterunner,

Since your thread is more vendor related than product, I am moving it to the vendor board where it may help others considering G-Force.

Any questions please PM me.

well, hopefully you'll get the refund more timely. - Atleast you didn't get the parts only to break them......

The more I hear the less I think of G-Force.

Another instance where G-Force has no customer support. And if you ever do get the trans and have anything close to 350 horse, you'll blow it up then have them tell you they, "cant help you." Get your $ back from them and put a TKO in your car. I didnt want to at first but after blowin the G-force it became my only option which I should have just done in the first place.
Never again will I ever tell people to get G-Force.

call your credit card company and dispute the charge, if you haven't recieved the product in 6 months they will be more than willing to get involved.

- your cc company can do a "charge back" which will really crew with g-force's ability to charge credit cards. - It can also be done with many bank cards if they have a visa/mc/amex, etc logo.
