Transmission: T5 Swap
Axle/Gears: 10bolt 7.5" 3.23 soon to be 3.73
Will HEI dizzy Clear HSR

will my MSD pro-billet HEI clear behind the HSR manifold or not.

i needa know before i look to getting this....

Axle/Gears: 3.42 posi
If it's the large HEI with the coil in the cap, it probably won't clear. If it's the small-cap HEI with a remote coil (such as the '87-92 TPI), it'll clear.

I've heard that there is a slight (but enough) difference between the large cap HEI's. Supposedly the screw-type cap will fit, but the "L" clamp cap is slightly larger and won't. Might be worth going to the parts store and checking to verify .......

you gonna have to drop a few bucks and get a small cap dist. If your on a budget, then I think GM sells a replacment for under 200. Proform also sells a fairly cheap one as well.

large caps do not fit.
Small does.
I have a stocker left over from part out if your interested. Ran fine on the car, and yes it did have the HSR on it. Pm an offer if you are.

meh thanks for the replies guys. looks like the guy that i was working to get the HSR already had the ECU claimed so I axed that deal. I'm not up for hunting down an ECU or anything else right now FL junkyards suck

I might have a 92 V6 SD ecu in the garage... if you are interested I would hunt it down. Simple change of the prom.
