thats a standard UK garage.. there is no more room on the other side, theCamaro fills it..
Phil, that pic definitely shows the guys in the States what most people in the UK have to put up with! The garage in my old house was ~3-foot longer and about 2-foot wider that your 'regulation sized' garage and I found that a sqeeze!
The new garage is much nicer though but no pics yet. I would absolutely love to have a garage like AaronIROCZ's - 24' deep and 30 wide is impressive to say the least!!
Originally posted by nolanr0413 wow , your nose is wrecked , it has a huge plate on it and what are those little lights on the nose too?Ive never see lights there on a thirdgen .
shelving is in the works, the reason I built the garage was I had 3 cars in my driveway and the developers and neighbors were getting pissed at the fact I had my cars out there and one always blocked the sidewalk, I had 2 options before getting fined, sell the cars or build another garage to get them off the driveway.............I chose the latter.
ES87iroc , your an ***, and yes ive heard of export but ive never seen anyone do that to the bumper , ive seen the lights in the side of the cars but never in the front.
tta matt since you have to run a front plate you should make a bracket so that it holds on ths underside of the bumper so you can take the plate off and you wont have any holes visible on ths bumper. It would look like this but yours would have to be bigger.
well i cant find the goddamn pic, i searched for 10 min . so i guess you dont get to see what i was talkin about .
Here's my car in its new garage. We moved into the house about a month ago and I just brought the car down this past Saturday. The garage isn't really big, but I should be able to do an engine swap in there...hopefully.
Hello Everyone. This is my current project that I picked up last month. It's a 1984 Z28 HO. I purchased it without an engine. I now have a numbers matching 305 for it, just installed, but I don't think it is the HO version. It's pretty much all there, but it still needs a lot of work. I really love steering wheel from a T/A. I also had to install a speedo from a T/A, because the previous owned like the Camaro one better. I will have it on the road soon, I just have to set the rear end (was 3.73, but previous owner also took those, so I have some 3.42's in there now).
Nolan, you are over reacting. ES was not being an ******* with his comment. If he had said that to you in real life you just would have brushed the comment to the side without thinking.
well if he didnt mean it like that , well thats the damn problem with the internet , you lose all context in what you mean . I thought he was being an *** . But cool , im glad he wasnt .
Originally posted by THEGENERAL are both of those reflection pics off of the paint??? if so all i can say is WOW...and can you come over and do the lincoln for us...LMAO
Yes, and thanks for the compliment! Those pics are taken
from a 3.2 Megapixel camara on very low charge batteries.
I don't know if the pics can come out any better with fresh
charged batteries. But, yes the pics are taken directly from
the paint! That's 4 hours of washing and waxing. I still
haven't even buffed it yet. I does need it, believe it or
not.
If I lived near you, I would be glad to do the job!
Yea before you all give me ****. It's still a third gen under there and thats what matters. I just need to be different. On the other side of the plastic is my unmalested 92 Z28. only engine mods for that one.
That does look awesome! That body kit is really interesting to me, it's one of the few kits that I really think I like for the thirdgens. How difficult was it to install, how well is it made, etc? Did you elect to go with the scissor-hinged doors? Feel free to respond to me in a PM so this post doesn't go off topic, but I'd love to hear more about the kit!
Back on topic: So many of you guys have both awesome cars and great places to store/work on them, this post rocks

MetalliCamaroRS- deffy better than where you had it the first year
evoluzione1- how about some more pics of the car . Ive never seen it done . It doesnt look that bad . Its deffy different and no one would think it was a thirdgen.
Here's another photo. The one in the garage is mine from when I building her and the one on the hauler is Euro Works cars. I was helping with a show a while back.
The side veiw is the only shot i have as of today. Maybe i go get some from the garage if you guys want some more shots.
Metall I just got mine in the garage yesterday which is 100x's better then where it use to be. I can finally start to clean parts up under the hood and they will stay nice. I also washed it knowing it will stay that way for the most part other then the dust.

Further, the driveway is so steep that they scrape when they go up the right side, so i have to drive up on an angle. I usually park in the front now.
