paint
there are some paint spots that i would like to take care of. some of the paint is chipping on the bottom edge of the wheel well(or fender), and there are some rusty spots on the bottom corner of my doors and the bottom of the decklid. is there anyway i can fix this without repainting the whole thing. if so, how much do you think it would cost. the guy that sold me the car used some kind of paint that doesnt use clear coat. i dont remember exactly what kind. what can i do??

yellow ---------------- 8769 - 84-90
talbot yerllow -------- 8909 - 88-90
competition yelllow --- 9804 - 88-90
yellow beige ---------- 9370 - 84-87
dark federal yellow --- 5247 - 85-90
That's it,, the only yellow used on gm cars in those years. You can go to Autozone & get a small can of Duplicolor for $3.30
Print this out (or write it down)and go match the 4 digit paint # to the one one the can that closest matches your car color
Duplicolor is a laquer paint which needs no clear coat(doesn't hurt it tho),,, just a color sand, buff and wax it will have a good shine to it.
