Sandblasting Rims ?
I have a set of Gold rims off my 86 TA... 16 inch. I need a set of the same ones in Aluminum with black cutouts, but im broke right now. Has anyone ever tried to sandblast the clearcoat and paint off successfully,or will it look horrible and be a waste of time and effort.
I have a pic here....If anyone wants to trade locally let me know

I figure its alot cheaper than buying another set of rims. I dont wanna waste the time or ruin them if its not doable.
