Demon355, No, it is a Goodmark steel hood. I had a Harwood 2" hood till I had a fender bender that destroyed it. The Harwood hood could not compare in fit and finish. I do not know about the Show Quality hoods by Harwood, but you need to talk to someone who has one. My old Harwood bolt on hood was warped from the beginning and you could tell it was not a street quality hood. It was high on the drivers side front corner and would let air get under it and shook the hood at speed. It really needed hood pins to keep it down. I am not too crazy about hood pins. So I lived with it. The Harwood also was not wide enough. The gaps were too wide on either side. In my opinion poor quality control for a part directed at the custom auto market.

My hood seems to only have a gap at the front of the hood. Both sides are fine. I could cut/angle it more but it's good. Your hood seems to fit beautifully.
From my understanding the Goodmark hood is manufactured according to the original specification of the factory steel hood. That is why I chose to use Goodmark at this time.

Reason: Forgot to add pic
I have a black 91 GTA, and I love it, but I hate how dirty it always looks, and how easily it shows scratchs. If I were ever to repaint it, I'd probably go with an electric blue or something.

I think you need to be further ahead of the game. Are you planning on adding any exterior modifications to it like wheels, chrome, etc? How will the two colors match your interior? Have the big picture first then tweak the details like color last. But as it stands, black will go with anything.

I guess the bottom line is this - how much maintenance do you want to do with it? My wife & I bought a brand-new 4x4 in 2000, & I tried with all my power to steer her away from the black one - not because it doesn't look good (black looks GREAT when it's clean, & when it doesn't have a bunch of "micro scratches" on it), but just because it shows EVERYTHING... Of course she HAD to have that one... We recently traded it in, & she told me that she wished that she'd listened to me. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a sharp-looking black car, but unless it's a "warm-weather toy", it's a pain in the butt to keep up.
One more reason to consider red - it allows you a certain degree of flexibility. Most of the red cars posted so far have been what I'd call "bright red", but there's a very wide range of possibilities, from a bright red to black cherry color. With black, you get... well, black.
And yeah, I guess you can say I'm a bit biased too, but I've owned both colors, & I don't plan on owning another black vehicle... Here's my car:
heres mine, ppg viper red, excuse how dusty she is in the pics. and I don't have the new fiberglass wrap around on yet, I need to repaint it.
