Throttlebody trim plate for Pontiac
A friend of mine is a machinist and he made me a present because I was lamenting my obviously chevrolet...chevrolet engine.
He's a CAD machinist by trade and isn't interested in making more (sorry guys) But, Ive seen them other places, for LTx guys and TPI guys.
So he made me a black anodized TPI TB trim-plate that says
'WS.6 Performance Package' I'm sure he found the logo somewhere and cut it but its not exactly the same as the ones Ive seen online.
Heres a crappy pic. Make sure you scrape the gasket off completely when you install it. I also repainted the torx heads with rattlecan trimpaint (push the screws through a piece of cardboard spaced 3/4" apart so you can paint them easier) and I used some black silicone sealant to make a gasket. Dont torque this thing all the way down, let the silicone dry for a bit, wipe the TB with some alcohol to get the old gasket goo off, set the plate in place and torque it down halfway in a star pattern. THEN, come back in an hour and tighten it down nice and snug. Voila!
