getting rims ant tires need help!!!!!!
Hey,
Getting new rims and tires for my 88 ta and have some ??
1) I am going with 17" wheels with 275 40 17 tires will this work??
2) What width rim will be best for these tires on my car??
3) What back space will I need to get??
4) The factory rims have diffrent backspacing on the front and back. Why?? Also do I need to get diffrent backspacings on the new rims??
Thinking torque thrust II wheels any thaughts or other ideas??
Thanks

Im running TT II's on my IROC in 17x9.5" with 275/40x17" F1's all around - and couldn't be more happy. I have no problems at all.
I got 5.5" backspacing for the rear and 5.25" for the front - which worked out real nice!
Hope that helps!
