I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but...what about third brake light covers that say "www.thirdgen.org"...for those of us that have the 3rd light mounted on the spoiler...it may be more difficult to get those made...but just an idea...

I'd buy some.........if I had the money, you know some people just don't have a lot of extra cash, but if it says thirdgen.org I think it would be great!

Yeah, put me down them all too. Just make sure that they are high-quality - not cheap trash that will denigrate the name thirdgen.org.

I was over at Las Vegas F-Body ( http://www.lvfbody.com/ ) and was checking out Matthew Guimond's bada** 99Z28 and noticed he had a small sticker on the side of his rear glass. It's his websight logo. And I loved the style and look so good. I think the size and placement are just right. Not overdone but still noticeable and you could even color match your car. Here's my design of the sticker.
And here's some pics of Matthew's car and note the location of the sticker. I Like

I've been waiting to post on this topic. The ThirdGen logo product idea was kicked around soon after the cash crisis. Yes, I too would also be interested in license plate frames, mugs, t-shirts, etc. But I notice that the ONE person that can make this happen has chosen not to post one way or the other on the topic. I should think over 172 posts on this topic with over 90% favoring it would be enough to get it going or at the minimum get Dirk to post where he stands. But it appears not. So until then don't hold your breath.

In another post I was just reading another guy tried to make some for people for like $8.00 or $12.00 (cheap for custom decals)it was just like windshield banners and a hatch sticker and Dirk personally posted there locking it and tellin him he didnt have permission to use someone else name and hard work for his own profit. the guy said he asked for permission but no one answered him for like 2 weeks, I dont think the member was doin it for the profit rather than just to have thirdgen.org stickers out there.

Dirk, Dont You think its time? its been... since april 24th when we started talking about this,
yes thirdgen was your baby, now because the group came up with some killa ideas on making things so we could show how we are proud of your work,
we have the will to pull this off, we just need you to give a "go"

guys, think of two spots to put the sticker,
Only TWO.
that way all it takes is a quick peek when driving by.
my vote is for bottom driver side window and preferably back window middle, bottom

i was the one trying to make the decals for everyone before being told not to. I emailed him again after he closed the thread but he still hasn't emailed back. I suggested that even if im not the one making the stuff, he should find someone to do it for us. if 183 posts on the matter isn't enough to convinve him, then all 600 members of this board are gonna have to blow up his email account on the subject. thats about the only way i see this having a chance of happening.

Zupman he's working on the t-shirts and stickers. He has already designed a logo and everything. He said T-shirts first and then stickers. He wants to see how they do before he goes any further I believe. As for him locking your post. The reason is that the name "Thirdgen.org and all that's contained within this site is Copyright Protected. Any use of the name or it's content must be approved by Dirk whom holds the Copyright. There is a site that has taken alot of stuff from this site and posted it on their site(Not Naming Names or Going Any Further)like tech pages that other members have worked very hard to put together for all of us to use. Dirk is dealing with it now. So see he has to keep the rope kinda tight cause he's worked very hard to create all of this and he's also protecting us since the tech pages contain alot of info that we've put together. I hope you understand. John

Jobyran,
I understand that completely, and i never would have even tried to make them if i had gotten some kind of response form him through email. Had i known that he already had thirdgen.org merchandise in the works i never would have bothered. It just seemed like he was ignoring the whole idea and he wasn't even gonna consider it. All it would have taken was one post saying that he was working on it and the whole fiasco would have been solved. This post probably would have finally died too. Either way were all gonna have thirdgen.org merchandise soon so im happy anyway.

Here is another place who sells the frames. Kind of like the style of a car dealerships frames.
Man! This has to be one of the most popular threads here on thirdgen.org. Really shows how all of us feel about this site
All of my non-car friends know all about thirdgen.org too, its funny, i can't stop talking about everything here.
Hopefully Dirk(?) will get some of these plates on order, then sell them through the site! I have no problem paying for one of these, i would be proud to have it one on my car.
