help me out here

Ahh, I picked up some chrome wheels off a friend for FREE and they are cool,but they have little specs of rust on them around the edges. Is there any way to get that off

they are free why are you complaining???

when it comes to rust if you try to pick it off your only going to flake off the chrome......... good luck.

polish them up and leave alone. next time you get a set of new chrome platted wheels, stay away from salt and don't let harsh contaminants sit for long periods of time. if you can see the rust, more than likely there is alot more beneath. your playing with fire if you try to remove it. best bet would be to clean them up and dab some rust preventer on there, then possibly touch it up with black. of course this depends on the size of the infected area.

i would just say try to use some chrome polish and see what that does ....but like Kandied said ..u might make it worse if u try to get rid of it.....
