Need ideas on how to re-inforce front part of chassis
I own two 3rd gens (one looks like it'll be sold to another member), and an '01 4th gen WS6 T/A. The 4th gen will be going to the shop in about a month to have a C4 IRS installed. At that time, I'll have a roll-cage put in as well. The 4th gen already has KBDD SFCs and Hotchkis STB installed. The style of roll-cage will be similar to Kenny Brown's, where the connection of the front to rear will run just above the floorpan. I'm trying to leave ingress and egress easy. Roll-cage will be custom, re-inforcing all the IRS mount points in the rear.
Off to my question. I'd like to re-inforce the front portion of the frame, and I'd like any creative ideas or suggestions on how to do this. Also, what are the weak points of the front chassis. Only limitation is I don't want to impinge on the cabin too much.
Thanks, Dave '91 GTA, '91 T/A, '01 WS6 T/A
