For all those that have t-tops... you know the A-Pillar molding that runs down the edge of the front window? There is a rubber piece sort of on the outside of it, that's like a real flimsy weatherstripping piece. Mine are all cracked, brittle and are falling apart. Can this be replaced? Does this even do anything? I'm having some leaks and I wonder if this has something to do with it.

I'm going to assume that 'weatherstrip' piece was an intergral part of the trim piece (similar to how the inner windlace is sold as part of the door panel cap).
The LH p/n is 20229748 (pontiac) and was not available using www.parts.com so I would assume the OEM stock has been exhausted.
I can't imagine it being useful for anything other than hiding the metal behind the trim piece (beautification, hide the gap left from a piece that isn't an exact fit) and maybe a little rattle noise control.

i tried to save mine with a lot of armorall(sp?) and a lot of silicone. then i epoxied it back to the pillar. worked pretty good.

I have the same problem on mine.. I took mine off and just picked up some tall foam weather stripping ant put that in place.. looks good.. I kept the originals though... I had ckecked with the dealer.. and the only way I might have a chance of getting it is if that whole panel was available new.
