interior coating?

i was wondering if anyone has used truck bed coating inside their car for a way to totally eliminate the chance of rust. i have wired every square inch of the inside removing all seam seal and carpet adhesive. i was going to coat it with bed coating. good idea or not?

I'd use POR 15 before that stuff.

use automotive sealer on the spots where metal meets, tehn u can use undercoating on the whole thing....

great input, thanks a million you guys and gals. by the way, since i'm not running a back seat, i cut all the mounts flush, (rear seat belt, rear seat lower and upper mounts) and ground them smooth. i weighed all of these parts together and got a total weight of 13 pounds for things i didn't need to retain. just alittle food for thought for you guys looking to shave weight and don't run a back seat. again, thanks guys
