Painted mY Big Block Hood

I painted my hood yesterday in the garage. I made an enclosure out of plastic, had a filtered fand blowing in and a fan blowing out, wet the floor down and went to town. I'm pleased with how it came out except for the fact that I ran the clear some. Hopefully it will come out with the wet sand. Here's some pics:

On a side note let me just say that I am NOT TOUCHING paint again until I can buy or rent a forced air respiratory system. Those of you out there who want to paint do yourself a favor and do the same. I spent the better part of last nigh throwing up with a headache and extreme nausea. If you think it won't happen to you, I havent thrown up, while sober atleast, in almost ten years. All I can say is that I'm glad I'm ok today so that I had a chance to learn from this, it was nothing nice. Oh and I had a regular respirator, just wasn't enough.

Thanx for the compliments. It's the stock black for 86 camaros and its the ppg omni line of paint. The car its going on is still all primer, this was kind of a test to see how the rest of the car was going to turn out.

BTW, does anyone know of a place where I could possibly rent a forced air respiration system? Lowe's or Home Depot maybe?

i donno why or how, but you only should had the fans blowing out, not in at all, and i dont know why you puked and got sick, i work at a bod shop and paint sumtimes with no respirator at all, and if i do paint with one, its a simple 3m painting respirator, you dont need no forced air system, tis overkill, you just have to get the fans to pull all the **** out of the place, not have one in and one out, thats why, just get a good 3m respirator and vent it away and youll be fine...
