Frame Restore

This is not 3rd gen related but need some help with my frame off S10 restore. I'm getting ready to begin the frame work and was wondering what my best option is - 1 - sand it, paint it, 2 - sandblasted, powder coated, 3 - I dont know looking for suggestions, lol, thanks alot for help

sand blast it thats the only way to go an a frame

me and my freind jeff have been working on a 85 s-10 for the past 3 years now and we did the frame up restortion on it we sent the frame up to a industral painting place the sandblasted the whole thing for 15 bucks

thanks for the fast reply maverick, how much of the accessories did you pull off the frame? did you leave it rolling or no?

when we did ours we took off everything like i said we did a full there isnt a nut or bolt that hasnt been romoved sanbblasted and then anodized ill just let you know that its a lot of work

Gotta leave it rolling long enough to drive it around the block with just a frame and a seat. Its a joy that you must experience once in your life.

hahahahahahha yeah we did that when we got the frame all painted and back to rolling chassis stage again we had just got done dropping the new driveline into it and just had a bucket and a hand pull for thorottle the s-10 now sports a 335 (305 with 400 crank) tpi and its 4x4 so its alot of fun in 4 high all 4 light up and smoke :rockon:
