Well, I just did a search, and didn't find any pictures with the part numbers needed for this mod, so I'll add my info here in hopes that it will be useful to others that still haven't changed over to 4th gen seats.

At first, all I did, was cut the 4th gen guides to allow the belts to go through them, but then I saw, on a different thread, that the conv. guides had the slit already in them, I decided to check at the dealer, and was happy to find that they were still available.

Different colors are available, but I will list the numbers for mine, which are called "neutral". This was a close match for my tan 94 Firebird seats.

Just remember, these will be for the convertable seats!

Strange thing about these, is that one cost $5.41, and the other cost $2.38 What ever !

It makes me feel alot less like a "hack-bastard", after switching these out with my cut ones, as they look like they should, (factory)!

yeah the convertible ones look cool, but i ripped mine off after constantly putting the damn seat belt back in them after they kept coming out, got the solid ones and sliced them like the top pics.

good find, thats a good alternative....I slit mine as well, and being black you cant see where they are cut....so it has more of a clean look than those convert ones

How did you guys slit it? I am interested in the Camaro guides that have a to part and a bottom part (for taller and shorter drivers?) I think these were available on older 3rd gen camaros as well

I cut mine. I totally forgot about it until I saw this thread. I think both look good.

I just used a hack saw w/ a thin blade. Mine look just like the cut ones posted above.

I think I originally posted the convert guides a few years ago.
The belt kept coming out of the guide on my car as well, it is because of the angle of the belt.
On a Vert, the seatbelt retractor is on the body straight back from the guide and not raised up like on a normal car.

when i split mine, i did it on the bottom of the guide, not in the middle. End result, the seat belt covers it, and you can really notice it's there. That and my guides are dark gray, barely noticable anyway...

For splitting them, i used a vertical band saw, very small cut.
