Looks like my odometer is done for good

https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...light=odometer

after the first one broke, i went ahead and replaced it with a used unit. worked for a lil while then stopped working again. took it apart. same problem as in that pic. broken gears. bought another used cluster from a boneyard today and installed it. verified the gears were good. installed it. odometer never moved. took it out. same ****in problem! anyone know what could be causing that? only thing i can think of is for some reason the lil drive motor is drawing too much power and moving the gears a bit too fast, and b/c they're weak to being with, they break. well for now im done messing with it. would've been nice to fix it, but i aint gonna stress over it. i dont plan on selling the car anyways.

RIP 91 Formula odometer
