yah i had a set and sold them to my gf (she owns the white trans am in that pic above) she needed them more as her car had the formula lights and there just gross...and she has everything now to be a ta replica except the fender vents. Plus i think they look better on her car i kinda like these ones there kinda kool....i re cleared them.

I like your taillights also, I think if you painted where it says pontiac and the bird gold it would look better then the white, also What steps did you take to reclear them, i think mine need them.

also, what is the far decal on the rear bumper, not the one that says trans am??
edit, another also, have you considered a trans am hood? I like the way it looks now, very clean and very straigh lines but i think the vented hood might go well with the side vents

yah it would be too hard to paint the bird as its kinda behind the clear part and it looks ok to me there now....and the pontiac i just painted chrome/silver i didnt have any gold at the time but i do now. To reclear them i wet sanded them, repainted just the black parts then cleared everything.
The far decal is 5.0 liter h.o. and yes i wanted a bulge hood bad just couldnt get one here localy and i couldnt wait anylonger before the paint went on.

thanks all for the rest of the comments too...later

Hey man, you know I like it
The wheels turned out great.
But the ride is just too darn high.
Any plans on lowering it?

I'd like to see our two cars together,
it would make for a great photo op

Leon.

well in the pic there i just finished putting the wheels on the car and droped it down off the jack and the car needs to roll a few feet before the suspension settles down a bit if you look at the older pics at my site youll see it wasnt as bad as the new pics....but even still id like to drop it abit more on the front for sure. I think ill be selling it before i can actually lower it tho cant keep both too much $$. I actually just bought it for a project car anyhow. I think it turned out nice from the beast it used to be.

about the guy with the 2nd gens id love to have one for sure...ive had a plain firebird 81 but always longed for the ta's id trade my iroc in a sec for a nice black and gold 2nd gen ta.
