I had my hood cable brake and new I am going to start pulling apart the car to try to get my hood open again. Before I start Is there a easy way to do it that i would figger out for myself by the time i finished any way or am i stuck trying to random pull my car apart till i finaly get the hood back open

climb up under the front and pull on the cable with pliers or vice grips.

go underneath the car pop the cable off and yank it. thats useually how i do it when my cable is broke i dont know about 3rd gens but it works on most cars
