Re: weatherstripping "kit" ??

i ended up buying this kit, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...mZ190096359550

door seals, window seals, and trunk seal, for $140.. it arrived today, and looked liek a very good product; i will see when i have it installed in a few weeks; (the car gets dropped off for paint in 2 days!)

thanks for the advice guys; i still need to get the little bumpers and things, at some point

Re: weatherstripping "kit" ??

Classic Industries also sells what you are looking for. I believe they have a free catalog. Also, you can download a .pdf version of their catalog.

Now, be wary of "aftermarket" anything. I highly recommend buying actual "GM" parts...

I bought an entire set of "OER" weather stripping and neither of the door weather stripping fit properly. One side the plugs didn't match up with the holes and the passenger side was simply 1 inch too short... But, because I accidentally tore it tryign to make it fit, they wont' take it back. So, spend the extra money, but the 'GM' stuff, and hopefully you won't get stuck with something that doesn't fit right.

I just hope the T-Top weather stripping that I bought fits right. I'll really be mad if that doesn't work either.

Re: weatherstripping "kit" ??

^ very true, trust me, i would have loooved to get the original GM stuff, but when it is $400 per door, plus more for windows, i decided to get reproduction stuff , i asked a few people who had bought items from the seller who had 3rd gens,a nd they said that the parts they got form him fit well, so i did that..
