How to ?
I am looking to pull my stock z28 emblems off my ground effects and rear bumper and replace them w/ a set of Stainless Steel ones. My question is how do you remove the stock ones from the car? Are they usually glued on? or bolted on or double sided tape? Any help would be great, so I am not going into it blind. Thanks in advance!

Re: How to ?
I know the one on the rear bumper is just stuck on so you can peal it off. The ones on the rocker panel are held in by two pegs which I have yet to figure out how to get out. The pegs often break when you try to remove them, so use extreme caution while trying to remove them if you hope to reuse them.
Hopefully someone who has removed the rocker emblems will post how to do it.

Re: How to ?
I've taken 'em out of junked cars before. I usually push on the back side with something while I slowly pry them with a screw driver. Once, I used pliers and squezed the peg in and slowly pryed it out. Just go slow, if you pry the emblem just a bit too hard it will start to crack.
For the chorme or stainless steel ones I suggest you use some pretty strong adhesive to get it on there. There is some 3m stuff out there (can't remeber the name now), but you can find it at an autoparts store or homedepot/lowes.

Re: How to ?
I have an 92 RS so I don't know if they'd be the same or not... but I just pulled all mine off the other day before we took it to get painted. They all just peeled off.
