LS1 tank swap issues

so i did an ls1 tank when i did my 9 inch rear....everything worked out fine...exept for the sending unit....i heard that you cant use the orginal 3rd gen sending unit so i left the ls1 sending unit in it and ran some wires from it so i cna hook up to a autometer gauge to read my fuel level, ....now...i have no clue what the ohm reading on a ls1 sending unit is as i heard its different then the 3rd gen ohm reading...so i dont know which gauge to order to monitor the fuel level....so anyone know what the ohm reading of a ls1 sending unit is...

Re: LS1 tank swap issues

This thread really belongs in the LS1 swap area of this board, and if you searched there you would have found the answer. You will find the part number (for a Grand Prix sender) there.
