fiberglass hood
i have a factory gm fiberglass hood off of the early thirdgens with the indents on it instead of the louvers and i was just wondering how rare they r and if they r worth anything

Somewhat "rare". While all the 82-83 Z28s, and some 94...IIRC, they were discontinued mid-84, that does make them almost 30 years old. So the question is....How many are still around? Quite a few, but obviously only 2-3 years worth made vs 8 yrs of steel ones.
They had a habit of the top layer separating from the bottom layer, which is why they were discontinued. The fact that yours is still alive, says that yours was most likely one of the god ones.

Not very rare. I've got 4 sitting in my shed, 3 with working flaps. I have a harder time finding good condition Iroc hoods. All of the steel hoods start rusting out behind the headlights.
